Archival Registry

Qualifications: (2023 Introduction and Induction Video)

To qualify for inclusion in the NCT Films Archival Registry, a film must meet the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: The film must be at least 3 years old.

• Influence and Historical Importance: The film should be considered influential and/or historically important to the program.

• Genre Limitation: Only one film per genre is allowed, with the exception of three additional unidentifiable entries that do not fall into any specific genre.

• The following genres are recognized:

  • Drama

  • Comedy

  • Horror/Fantasy/Sci-Fi

  • Experimental

  • Music Video

  • Documentary

  • PSA (Public Service Announcement)

Note: While a film does not require a Brucy award to qualify, the selection process should be unbiased and prioritize films deemed influential and/or historically important.
